thanks snIPer !
lots of research, preparation and patience! parts had to be imported to south africa, i just ordered them online and they arrived in my post box here in south africa.
South African Rand To Dollar exchange rate was bad, so it did work out costly. that is why the longer barrel is not on it yet, but in the next few months, i should order the longer barrel.
for anyone truly interested in modifying their crosman 1377c .177c pump air pistols, it will be my pleasure to assist them in any way possible, i have lots of diagrams and files to show how to go about it. careful planning and attention to detail is the best recipe for a solid pistol setup.
the crosman 1377c can be modified for power and the trigger tune can be done without heavy costs on a local level without importing parts. i did the best i could before getting in parts for the pistol.
now, with 8 pumps, my pistol will shoot a 10.49gr Gamo hunting pellet, RIGHT THROUGH a plastic coke bottle filled with water...at 5 meters! that is serious power from a 10 inch .177 barrel, shooting a heavy pellet grainage.
i recently installed the LPA MIM rear sight on the custom steel breech. i am getting under 1 inch groups from GAMO PRO HUNTER &>*&GR pellets at 8 pumps at 7 meters. when i put a scope on, i will be testing for longer range accuracy.
a silencer is now highly necessary, as i am getting PCP power out of my valve between 20-25 pumps. massive power, so loud, that it literally goes BOOM...lol.

thanks farhan.
i used to apprentice as a gunsmith about 8 years ago, although i dont have machine experience, i have substantial experience with hand filing and parts making by freehand. it was the type of teaching my master gunsmith wanted to eductae me in. so everything you see in the photo, was hand filed and honed to fit perfectly, even the shortening and cutting of the hard stainless steel screws! the only thing done by machine (a lathe), was the valve porting and the boring out of the valve exhaust port ID.
my fingers are in a bad way now and still recovering, but it just adds to the romance i have with this air pistol.
