I have a Raampuri; Sudesh, many thanks for reminding. I need to grease it up and free it from all the rust it has accumulated. Stay tuned.

I too have a Rampuri (The smaller version).
It is almost 50 years old.

Some 10 years back me and my friend made a knife, dont exactly know what to call it, A dagger would be suitable word, may be, may be not.
We made it out of a stainless steel bread knife, Yes the one we use in kitchen

Gave it a nice shape using a grinder machine & a diamond file.
The most interesting part was to make its grab handle & sheath.
I studded two three fake diamonds on the grab handle and one in the sheath as well.

Too tied up to clean it, maccha; besides, the normal kerosene or Zorric anti-rust solution failed. Can you suggest some alternative.

Maccha, I prefer going for a new Rampuri; it shall work out cheaper than buying all those electrical equipment.

Hi People,
My first post, I've got a small collection of knives, i just love them, here are a few of my Favorites, the axe is not classic or anything, i just pick it up from a local hardware store, and i thote it looks cool, she did not come sharpened, i would welcome suggestions on how to sharpen her, I have sharpened one side using a whetstone. The kukri was a gift from a friend, the Webly and Scott Flare pistol was too

. The smaller blade, i rescued from an old aunt who was using her as a gardening knife.
