Waheguruji ka Khalsa Waheguruji ki Fateh R-Dhillon Veerji...Well our Sikh Kharag Khanda is no different. I have purchased one from Amritsar recently ..thats the one u see above ...The one u been talking about is the symbolic Khanda..our religious sign or emblem.

I belong to Jabalpur, but these days in Delhi. Do not try scotch bright! Use WD-40 or Singer Machine oil on a soft piece of cloth and rub lightly in one direction only. It will take away approx 70% of the rust. Repeat cycle for a few times. Always leave a thin layer of oil on the blades to avoid the rust.
Do let us know the result.

Sorry if I am not getting it,but what is the entire purpose of this post. What information is being put up that can't be bettered by a google search. All this is just clogging up the site with useless gibberish.
If you want to share photos of your collection there is already a thread on this.BTW most appear to be for ceremonial purposes.

It is a site to discuss and gain information and google cant replace it.kalashnikovcult";p="63046 wrote: well google can end the entire purpose of this website
I am just pointing out that you are clogging up the site and using up limited bandwidth that can be used for something better.
Google for Indian Sword,Khanda,Indian Armor ,Talwar, Shamhseer,Damascus steel,Pesh kabz,Spear..... and you will find information that should keep you happy for several days.
If you have some original information, please do share. If you are going to pull a Rottlord, please fell free to and I will free to point out the futility of this exercise.

Hi kalashnikov, pretty impressive collection indeed. Can you please tell me as to where did you buy the first sword in the photograph-the black sheath with oxodised handle and the patta from? How much do they cost? I am from Mumbai, do you know of any place here where I can pick these & also Nagani etc.? Thanks in anticipation

Bhai Rupji thanks for your appreciation the first one is not mine its a pic available online ..I was talking about the Khanda so had posted the pic ..The Patta is a favorite weapon of Maharashtra .and if u r in Mumbai its not possible to buy that unless u land in a antique dealer ..I have moved to M.P. from Mumbai..i can get one made here..since here there r people who can do Patta sword fencing amazingly well...Nagni u can easlily buy from Punjab..Mumbai is really difficult ..u know some time back during Guru Nanakdevji's Guru Parab around November people from Punjab use to come and sell..but now they have been warned and there isnt much coming....
My collection is the one i have defined as mine ..some posts above ..they are the only ones i owe
