Well there should be lots of seized pieces in dist. Malkhanas all over the place....particularly in the NE. I'm yet to see one in licensed hands. None in 380 I believe.

9mmx18Makarov ammo is the problem. Thats why most officers, babus and netas haven't made a beeline for it.

and there i was thinking that india was not racist. :) i might as well stayed at home and abused everyone and still get a firearm for pittance. :? :? glad to know that i am not the only one who gets a frangi deal in this part of the world. :D :D

sound advice Abhijeet, what i sometime do is get someone local to check things out and then buy items.

i hav't come acoross mak in the NE. many tt m20s in NE. not seen one leagly.

i would think that if mak is sold leagl then when they get the mak they should also have ammo too.in the same way as with TT.

one of my friend bought CZ83 15 Round magazine .32 from the same dealer in kolkata ,the guy quoted 12L but this was negosiated down to 8.5L ,Scratchless mint condiction ,He was telling me about the Beretta ,the quoted price was 14L. I finished complete 15 plus 1 pop and this was never ending firing ,really robust pistol but still 8.5 L for a .32 pistol wise move or not dontknow ,gunaccessories is give 12 shot mag for our IOF pistol. cheers James.......

abhijeet,
i had sold my lama(.32) two years back since then i have been waiting and looking for a new piece. i would also like to share with the forum how i was cheated of my lama. There was this dealer in Arunachal Pradesh who rang me up from lucknow saying he had seen a P88 walther (Compact) in .32 cal, which happened also to be 13 shots, ambidextros. after desposing off my lama and entering the p88 in my license only i realised, it was a converted 7.65mm. p88 was never manufactured in this caliber.

Saw a CZ 83 go for 7 L in May last year, the condition was mint.
The Beretta 81 in .32 or 84 in .380 should command a price of around 8,the dealer has likely paid around 7 tops, tis a different matter altogether what they quote.
But anything above 8 will be a tough sale for the dealer too, depends on how long he can hold on to it,also depends who is sitting across the table

A Beretta 70 is up lying with a dealer in Delhi for the last 8 months cos he is askin 6 L,comes with 3 original mags.No takers.

Hi denong, please ans my quandary, what do you need a 15 shot/13 Shot for, last i heard that your licensing authority allows you to purchase 10 Ctgs in one go,as it is if you are filling up the mag,it illegal,Biswas had a 8 shot Czech and a Beretta which he was selling for 5-6 respectively,so go for a 8 Shot one, pick up another spare mag,if you are planning to go looking for Osama. :D

Congratulations , your FN 1910 looks very good. The prevailing price presently in North India is approx. 5L (give or take a few) .

Well I did checked with few dealers in Delhi & UP no one has anything in mint condition. You have seen pic of mine. I believe its hard to find these old weapons in this condition. I am not willing to sell mine anyway. I will be bringing this with me by the end of this year when I move back to India upon transfer of resindence.

Just wandering how long customs guys will keep my sweetheart away from me.
