After dominating domestic airgun market Precihole Sports is launching its first product, bolt action 22lr rifle under their Precihole Arms division.

Barrel length at 20 inches is optimum for high velocity ammo.Standing at 37.5 inches overall length it's just 1 inch shorter than CZ457 varmiant with 20" barrel.This difference could be due to shorter bolt and receiver on the Precihole RF100 22lr.

It costs more to manufacture a PCP rifle than to manufacture a rimfire. Their PCP's are less than half the price of their .22 rimfire. So not a very good price. Precihole have gone down the same path as the rest of the firearm manufacturers in India. Pricing their firearms based on the price of imported firearms which commanded a premium because import was not allowed and there was no comparable firearm being manufactured here. Now some will try to justify the price fixed by Precihole on the basis of India being a controlled market and the cost going up due to limited sales. But still 85k for a rimfire ?

They will definitely take advantage of the market, the question is will it even perform like the IOF .22 rifle which is of the similar price

A very promising product . Precihole’s previous offerings have been a success and were well received . This is their first firearm and I am sure they would have given it due attention to make a quality product . What’s most striking is that they’ve priced it very reasonably and ensured its within reach of most enthusiasts. This goes to show that Dr. Shirsat is a true gentleman and enthusiast.
