Carrying a handgun in flight post Op Sindoor

Post by blacknebula » Fri May 23, 2025 10:10 pm

Hello members.
Has anyone tried carrying a handgun post Op Sindoor in a flight (declared and checked-in).
Not sure if any new intimation is out in this regards yet. Was planning to travel with my handgun soon.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Dear mate,
Carrying a licensed handgun with papers and prior intimation with the Domestic airlines not an issue

I am sorry for being blunt. Your friend was lucky to get away despite breaking the law.

Wrong on 2 counts:

Firstly, he jeopardised airline safety protocols by checking in Co2 cylinders.

Secondly, or rather firstly, if he is poor enough to afford paying the fees but rich enough to afford buying CO2 guns and air travel, it speaks volumes about his character.
