Hello Fellow Members,
I'm based out of Delhi NCR and have developed an interest in Skeet shooting. I have zero experience in shooting but really want to pursue it as a sport. Can anyone connect me with a coach or guide me? Or maybe we can have a common gmeet where we can all discuss similar topics one by one.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
Cheers,
Shobhit

@Shobhit2497, you can start with Gel Blasters (which absolutely doesn't require any license, not even Aadhaar card), then Air Guns (Pistols, Rifles) proceeding towards Shotguns.

If you want to learn skeet shooting then I would suggest you to join a shotgun club. Contact New Moti bagh gun club in Punjab, they will guide you. Don't waste your time with airguns or other stuff if they don't genuinely interest you.

Shooting sports involve various spatial skills.
What suits one will not necessarily suit another.
Skeet or clay shooting involves different physical nuances ,processing speeds and hand -eye-brain coordination.
While practicing any shooting sport will help in developing the skills, I would suggest you join an accredited clay shooting programme to learn the specific skill set required
With a shotgun, one doesn’t ‘aim’ as in single projectile firearm , but learn to recognise when the right moment the bird is in your cone of fire and squeeze the trigger- allowing for wind, target movement ,your own swing and particular station.
If for instance you wanted to learn target pistol shooting, I wouldn’t recommend you start with skeet shooting.
Good luck
