If past experience with M&M is anything to go by, the buggers will end up putting in an underpowered engine and piss poor electrics! One can always hope they get it right though... if they do I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one...

Read the wiki saga about the Axe... the first para seems to be a jumble of self contradiction... while overstating the indigenous aspect.... the last two lines : "The Mahindra Axe has been developed by a team consisting of Indian and international designers. Some components of the Axe are being imported too" seem to go in a different tangent.

Very very bad memories but we used to do that during the riots in 1990 this bloody SHila Nyas and Babri Masjid time.

A citizens Aman comitee had been formed and along with a few policemen we used to Patrol in an open Jeep all night shining a spotlight in alll the bylanes, discouraging miscreants and keeping at bay the troublemakers from all communities.
