95mm long kiridashi with a 38mm edge and a bottle opener at the other end. made from a chisel blank that tapers towards the edge. it has a right handed chisel grind and has been finished upto 150 grit (hence the visible scratches - an attempt to keep sync with the kiridashi's main purpose - utility)

Wow! Would you mind me showcasing it on bladeforums, and doing a custom run if enough people are interested?

thank you all. i guess you guys are going to like the ff as well

. will post it in a couple of days.
@ suraj and sSDda....i drilled a hole and then cut it open for the bottle opener.
@choombak...thank you once again. the kiridashi is made from a chisel blank...so it would be plain high carbon steel with .6~.8 carbon.

regarding the concern of safety when using the bottle opener in BF...one can use deploy the bottleopener without taking the kiridashi out of the sheath. funny that those guys didn't think of that
the flap does tuck into the sheath...as stacy pointed out. another option for the sheath would be to just cover the blade. this would look better IMO. but i thought this would make it look like a simple leather flap keychain which wouldn't be an issue at cinema halls, malls, etc
@HJD...nice going! how thick is the steel and what was it in its earlier life?

@marthandan:
The steel is around 3mm thick, and in its earlier life it was a bottle opener..
