Hello from England
My name is Sid and I'm an internet mate of His Royal Highness Mack The Knife Bana.
He turned up on one of our UK gun forums 7 years ago and we never managed to get rid of him.
I promise to be on my best behaviour

For those who don't know, Sid is an authority on night vision equipment and he does not have a doctorate in the subject either. He is self taught and I'd go out on a limb to say that he was very much responsible for popularising NV equipment in the U.K..
He is now a registered gunsmith, again self taught and it all started with a Diana 52. I lost touch with Sid for a year or so but if I am not mistaken he specialises in AR15s now. Naren, you finally found yourself a soul mate.

Sounds a bit like Hotel California! Very well then, I may as well make myself comfortable.

Yep! Just be careful of the resident trolls... they seem to have taken a shine to you! The "Bana" charm at work - eh?
Sorry... but was too damn easy to resist!
Cheers!

What is the legality of NV equipment in the UK? In India all NV stuff is prohibited for use by civilians!
Cheers!

Welcome aboard Sid,
Got hammered for some legit NV equipment , used for wildlife photography, in my 'discovery' days...The cameraman, a gentle soul,if ever there was one, Terry, managed to get it going for some crucial filming of bears in chattisgarh, using my pocket maglite-as power source- (after the cops took away the battery pack)

Best
