Hi Vikram; Add USD 30 for shipping, 40% Customs duty and then dealers margin...But still yes 8525 is expensive, but not obsecence..... Have seen some really strange for sale threads (in various websites

), used ones at current exchange rates and current prices, yet people buy. The deal with knives is the same as with firearms in India I guess.
Regards
Moin.

Oliveplanet is probably for people who won't take any risk with their money, and consequently end up paying more. Its the price you pay for all customs hassles (if any). But most knifenuts I know, typically are willing to take some risk, and end up having it shipped directly from the US via reliable methods (search other threads for discussion). And with experience, you know which shipping works very well, and which does not. I personally find the wait very exciting, and haunt the postman as soon as the arrival clock starts ticking.
