hw 80 is the better gun.
none of them are for competitive target shooting

the hw is a good gun....great trigger; not pellet fuusy and accurate. also better finish when compared to the newer dianas.

but then, i am a big diana fan so....

the d350 is a wonderful gun IF one has the patience to get used to it. the new to6 trigger is as good as the rekord trigger on the hw; both rifles are heavy.

the 350 is pellet fussy and pellet selection....weight and fit are important. the 350 is more powerful than the hw...if that is a criteria. out of the box the 350 is rough, but with minimum lube application...transforms into a smooth shooter. accuracy is comparable to the hw if one masters the hold. 'artilary hold' is the way to go.

both guns are not for target shooting. if target shooting ( with spring power) try the AA TX series in .177. great guns.

ulimately the performance of the gun is in the shooter and its mantainence.
Throw me to the wolves....I will return leading the pack.

Hi Sajid,
Can you please share the dealer's contact details (preferably via PM) and asking price of the guns (RWS 350 and HW80).

Hi Guys,
> For starters there's a vast difference between "Sports Shooting' & "Target Shooting'!
> Target Shooting is a very serious & involved activity, where Power takes a 'Back Seat' while 'Accuracy' takes the 'Front Seat'. The velocity of the 'Target Shooting' guns rarely exceed 600fps. Most Target Shooting guns are PCPs. Their design, construction and ergonomics are totally different when compared to Sports Shooting guns. Their sights are highly precise, calibrated, micrometric gadgets & peep type.
> So decide on what kind of shooting you want to do & then decide on the gun you want to buy.
> Diana 350 & HW80 are excellent guns in their own category - these are high velocity performers with fair accuracy, but not recommended for competitive target shooting. They cost less as compared to Match Shooting air rifles - but can give a serious sports shooter years of happy & pleasant shooting experience & fun too.
Cheers
Briha
