Dear kaivalya,
Welcome to the forum and the fraternity. :-) Since you have already joined Savarkar; it's a good choice. Incidentally, the person who conducts training at Shailendra, Dahisar and IES (King George), Dadar (E) - Mr. Jawahar Joshi used to teach at Savarkar many years back before Vishwajeet Shinde took over eventually. I had my first "classroom" lessons at Savarkar under Jawahar Joshi in 1989-90 or so, before having another run under VS couple of years back. Don't know the course Jawahar teaches now - but back then it was mixture of theory and shooting with drills and all positions - sitting, prone etc. :-)

VS teaches purely from making you participate in competitions than mere plinking a coke can and encourages you towards becoming a champ. Should you show dedication, he will guide you very passionately and with personal attention. So make most of it. You have a guy who has won gold medals in KILOS at state, national and international levels. Good Luck and safe shooting.
