Hello from USA.

Post by g26s239 » Sun Jun 10, 2012 12:08 pm

Hi there,
I am an NRA Patron member who is active in gun rights issues living in Northern California. I saw a reference to your organization at Glock Talk and decided to join this forum to chat with you folks. I hope you can improve your gun rights in India to protect yourselves and enjoy shooting as a hobby. :)

Welcome to the forum. Yes the gun rights can surely be improved if the matter is fought intelligently. Though arms are fundamental right under Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, but this right has been cleverly subverted slowly and steadily over a period of time by those in power.

Thanks for the nice welcome everyone. Some of the posts I read a few days ago about having the caliber restrictions based in good part on the 1857 mutiny go right to the point that gun control is more about controlling people than making them safe. I look forward to getting to know you all better. On May 13th I was in Brisbane Australia at a gun show and talking to people there it was clear our cause is the same. My username is the same at other fora and represents Glock 26 and Sig 239, two of my favorite guns. Here is a pic of my 1999 DHR prefix Glock 26 9mm and AE date code (2004) HK P2000sk 40 S&W together.
