New member hello to everyone. I Just shot a 56lbs elephant in Botswana and completing my Africian big five. I would like to know how many Indians have completed the big 5 in Africia. I used Madubula safari outfitter for all my hunts and i based in Texas,USA.

Re: big five
Wow. Thats great ivory56.
Lets have the story and lots of snaps to go with it.
Not sure how many Indians (in Todays Times) living in India would have got the Big 5. If there are any. I am sure you could count them on your finger. With Rs 50 to a US $ it would work out rather expensive.

Re: big five
Dear Guys,
Here are my "Big Five" pictures. The elephant hunt was the most thrilling and dangerous (Okavanga Delta in Botswana). Big animal but the brain is the size of a half loaf of bread. As you know short placement is most important. Margin for error is very small. At 20 yards there is no place to hide from a charge. Luckily I had a perfect brain side shot. It was over in a nano second. I don't think the elephant even heard the shot. They are very intelligent and emotional animals and I would have hated to see him suffer in pain from a bad shot, besides having to track him to the next country. After the hunt, the whole village was there in two trucks. The last piece of meat was scrapped clear off the bones. It was gratifying to see the whole village fed. Sort of made the whole hunt worthwhile. Used trophy bonded sledge hammer 300 gr 375 H&H solids. I will keep you posed of my other hunts

Here are the tusks of the Mammoth he shot in the African bush.
Our Big 5 hunter with the worlds most expensive set of teeth.
The mods can move this to the Hunting section so that we can have the details of the hunt.

Re: big five
AAAWWWEEEESSSSSOOOMMEEEE PIC!!
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge

And the last known survivor

And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger

Re: big five
He has just completed his Big 5 in Africa.
This means he has already shot a Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and the Lion. In fact he shot the Lion at the age of 52.
