Hello guys,

You are really doing a great job on IFG. I should have given my introduction earlier, but better late than never.

I am a businessman and part time defence journalist. Primary interests being aviation, covert operations and intelligence. I don't have a firearm license, but get to fire some weapons on military firing ranges nearby. I hope to learn a lot about civilian firearms from experts over here.

Thank you Prabhath. Where in Bangalore? I spent a major part of my life at Bangalore. Miss those times and Bangalore of those days. Now Bangalore is more on lines of Mumbai.

maybe you should do a expose on our beloved IOF and the crap they produce for civilian market
at such a high price they charge for a century old product

Subodh, I have heard a lot about quality (mostly lack of it) when it comes to IOF. In fact I have witnessed poor quality for military weapons. I would love to write on topic you mentioned and will talk to papers to publish it. In case they don't agree to print it, will put it up on my blog.

also put the price issue in your block because i think it is high time like minded people like us do something about it

politicians can buy firearms from auctions held buy customs department but we the rightful people don't have right to own a quality firearm

politicians & criminals have latest imported guns but we the citizens of India have no right to import a legal firearm WTF

enough is enough

really looking forward to your article in newspaper/channel/blog i am sure all the wise IFG members will help you out in it
