I think you didn't get what I was saying. The finish of the gun is too much awsome to be understood by a common man, since it closely resembles a chinese toy-gun. If a roadside goonda sees this gun in our hand, he may think it as a chinese toy.
I again repeat, the deterrance of a weapon is not in it's use, but in it's threat of use. A good example is of the teacher, in mofussil areas (those good old days..), with a stick in his hand . As long as he intimidates the students by showing the stick and threatening to use it, its deterrance remains in action. As soon as he uses it and hits it to somebody, the threat and deterrance ends there for him. Now, dont take it literally. I am talking of the principle.
Another example... U take a LIC policy...do you really intend to have its benefit...?
It is your wish that it should not be encashed prematurely.....!!
But if at all it has to, it will give your family asupport for life.
Likewise, we wish not to come across any moment, when we have to use a weapon. But if at all we have to, then it saves our life....
Get that...
Ajay
You are mixing apples and oranges dont get it... I said what I had to and check this forum for this precise discussion. There is more to it but every one to their own
Ngrewal bhai,
I won't give up so easily.
If somebody pulls out his gun, it should frighten others....
Firing at somebody must be a last option....
Better if it has a life-threatening look.....
No court case and no issue.
Lovely looking pistols, to be sure! Thanks for sharing the pictures. 100,000 rounds? That's a lot of ammo!
Please tell me, aside from the cartridge (45 ACP) how would you compare the build and finish of your Para Ordnance pistols versus a Colt-made 1911? Say, a Gold Cup, or Series 70, or Series 80?

Timmy, I am not a big fan of (45 ACP).I use to have a colt govt.model in 45 and i run through lot's of problem with that, gun keep jamming in the rain when i am shooting in IPSC match. I am not the only one have that problem ,there is other guy in my team having the same problem as well, since i switch to Para Ordnance i do not have that problem.
Here, only i am talking about the gun i have, also my team member have because both of us have the same problems.
What sort of jams did you experience? Were they failure to feed, or stovepipes or what? I'm guessing that the problem was something that working the feed ramp couldn't cure.
