Just to give a contrary viewpoint - a .357 mag snubbie cannot be much of a pleasure to shoot. I'd load it with regular .38 spl ammo if I were you... All that power behind a bullet won't do much if you miss what you are aiming at!

I dont know about others but I can tell you for sure that most people who have shot with my colt snubbie dont want to shoot a 32 anymore and they themselves are after my life to find them a 357.

Ashar,
I've shot a couple of .357's - but both were full size revolvers and even then the recoil was not entirely pleasant. For a contrast a relatively low powered round like the 9mm Kurz (short)/ .380 can be decidedly unpleasant in a pocket pistol, but it's a pussycat to shoot in a regular sized frame.
With the substantially greater power of the .357 I can only imagine the recoil and blast in such a small revolver, not to mention the inability to grip it properly due to the size of the grips... did any one of those shooting your revolver manage to hit anything at (say) 15 or even 10 yards?
Do keep in mind the fact that missing with a .357 or even a .44 is as good/ as bad as missing from a .22
The idea is to be able to hit the target, if you can do so consistently with this gun - the my friend good on you!
If not then do give some thought to my suggestion of loading it with .38 spl ammo...
Cheers!

The answer to your question would be a big YES!
The first day I took it to the range, we could not give it a try at the 25 meters range since the range administrator objected and said that the 25m was for a max calibre of .32.
Then we gave it a try on the skeet range. There was this small concrete peg and it was about 16-18 yards away.About 3 people including me shot with it and blew a dent in the peg. That peg is still there on the range. The next time I go, I will post a pic of the peg on this thread.
All of us had to wear ear protection and it still hurt and we could not hear each other for like 2 seconds. The recoil is pretty bad, I admit but still I have a good pachmyer grip on it.

Ashar,
If you guys were able to consistently hit a concrete pole at 48-54 feet (16-18 yards), my concerns were clearly unfounded. Enjoy your piece
Cheers!

Hi Ashar,
What kind of a back stop do u folks have at the 25 meter range ? As we are allowed to use calibers upto the .45 acp at our 25 meter range.
take care!

No Mate.It is clearly mentioned at the range that any member using the 25m range can either use a .22, .25 and a .32 calibre and not anything else.
