Hi, Guy's
i sold my Ruger 10/22 in .22LR about a month ago and i order a new Tactical gun in .22LR so that gun is here now Ruger SR22 IN .22LR with Tactical scope red and green Mil- dot reticle and with BDC [ Bullet Drop Compensator ] Bullet Drop Compensator is designed to compensate for the natural gravitational pull on the bullet as soon as it leaves the barrel. BDC it is marked one through five .[ mean 100 yards to 500 yards ] . i am going to the range this afternoon to zero my scope, i hope you guy's like my new toy. Let me know

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Same old grind ..got to take my guns out in the Sun..hopefully soon...I am more of classic bolt action rifle Brno fan. Just wondering why not .17? - heard it has much more flatter trajectory although doubt the ammo is cheaper. Any she is a good looking gun enjoy
Cheers

All .22's are finicky about ammo. To the point that identical models from the same maker will show variance to the type of ammo they like.
Baljit: Nice looking gun.. am sure you will have a lot of fun with it.

Nice gun, I hope it shoots well too just like it looks. I am sad you sold your Ruger 10/22
I happen to buy a new one for my daughter who just started to shoot guns. I really love the 10/22. Happy Shooting

I really love my 10/22 also. Had it for about 25 years now and it is not selective with ammo at least as far as function is concerned. It has digested everything that I have fed it.
It is however more accurate with some ammo than others.
Of course, the SR22 is basically a 10/22, just gussied up a little with Nordic arms and other parts. So reliability should not be compromised.
Nice looking gun Baljit.
