a person moved between cities in last four years? Can he apply for license in the city he presently in? if yes then what procedure should cops take to grant him a license.

Yep, the application is to be made from the place one is (currently) normally resident at. All previous addresses, during the last 5 years should be mentioned though (with from - to dates) and the licensing authority is free to send for a police verification report to all/ any local police stations under whose jurisdiction you have previously resided.kanwar76";p="33606 wrote:a person moved between cities in last four years? Moving around frequently cause of work is not a good enough reason for denial of lic,what you would like to convince them about is that while you travel often,B'lore remains your permanent base.
Basically the Lic authorites would look for some permanent ID for proof of residence,in case your passport does not have the local add,perhaps a ration card,tel bill ie land line or driver id might help.
