So after 5 years file has finally reached DM office. Was wondering what should be the next approach now? Meet Aslah Babu first or look for sifarish directly?(as it would be needed anyway)

Any tips or help is most welcome.

The DM got transferred in January. The new DM won't touch new files in the beginning of his term. Sent a reminder letter by registered post on 17th April. No reply so far. Will send reminders every 15 days. Meanwhile still looking for a source to put in a good word with DM.

Can someone please tell me how a new Tehsil file can be put in the process? My Tehsil file is missing and they asked me to make a new one.
Whom should I contact? DM office or Tehsil itself?

Escalated the Tehsil IGRS to SDM level since Tehsildar was of no help. Lets see what happens. Waiting for the IGRS reply and will file an RTI after that.

Received communication from SDM office that the Tehsil file is nowhere to be found, and I should make a new file. Did exactly that and now waiting for it to clear from Tehsil level and reach Aslah Babu.

I think just north of 30, that's just to make the file move from one babu to another.
The final penultimate cost is yet to be known. The thing is no one is ready to talk directly and I am unable to find a contact who would help.
