Just two main principles
Always treat a fire arm as if loaded and never point a fire arm at anything you don't intend destroying.

I'm of the opinion that the recently posted video showing people doing foolish things with guns is not helpful.

For instance, the first part where the small woman is shooting a shotgun isn't the sort of thing that a woman watching would be encouraged to try shooting, herself.

Rather than showing idiotic behavior, of which there are infinite varieties and variations, I think that it's much more helpful to show good gun use with safe and proper technique.

I largely agree. But the idea behind it was to show bad things can happen very easily. Caution advisable with guns.
