Indians For Guns

Hey guys, the IFGguys channel page has lay dormant for too long. I think it's time for new Videos. But for this one, I will be needing the help of all Gun owners associated with IFG.

My fundamental idea behind the video is to familiarize normal non-IFG Indians with the prospect of Guns. And assuring them that a gun can be more than just an object of fear. I've read and heard about lots of you guys talking about your guns. And I know it for a fact that all of you really care about them. Most of you probably have a beautiful memory attached with it. I want you to share that feeling, that memory with the rest of the world.

That's the plane for the vid guys. Guns and Indians. I want you guys to grab a cam, set it up, sit in front of it and talk about your gun. Anything. Talk about the specs. When you got it. The whole experience. What did you do with it. Anything you are comfortable sharing. It's just like another thread of let's see your guns. But in video format.

You don't have to look like a model, you don't need to poses the voice of Amitabh Bachchan . You just need to own a gun. Also you don't need to use english or hindi. There are no reservations about the language. Speak in the one you are most fluent.

Any and all interested drop me a pm or better yet make a reply to this post. I would love it if all gun owners could participate. That means you too Abhijeet sir.

On the job! Have to find a good camera with a tripod though.

Finally !! I was getting worried that no one will do it ! Come one people look at HydNawab ! It doesn't cost a cent to make a vid.

@Nawabsub, you can use a table with decent height to replace that tripod and an average camera would do. Just make the video and mail it to me. We will merge the rest (if we get any) and try our best to make a decent video worthy of representing IFG. Check your pm for my id.

Great Initiative, and no surpirse you have not received many replies, this exactly is the face of RKBA in India. We talk about various issue of RKBA, suggest many things, this can be done, that can be done but when someone tries to implement it, the so -called faces abscond like they never existed.

For me, i have got my S&W quiet recently and due to work load was in no position to fire it till date , may be the Holidays from next week will give me the liberty to get seducted by my beauty . Will send you my hot video by 1st week of Jan. Mind it the Contents will be for Adult Viewing Only.

Don't generalize, Ravi. There's a lot of us here who don't have any firearms, like me. That's why I didn't respond to Zake's post. Can't say about others.

All of us can see your efforts you are trying to put thru RTI, single handed effort, which is commendable. I am generalizing for the people, who come and appreciate the work and suggest hell lot of stuff that can be done for RKBA. Their are many gun owners on this forum and you can see the mind bobbling response this post has received. I am over whelmed. We are not forcing people to contribute, its on every ones will, you have to volunteer for it but when someone put froth's a suggestion for others, whats the harm in doing so for himself / herself

For non gun owners like you, i think you can speak about RKBA and that can be added in the video (with due permission from zake), the problems in obtaining the liecence, how you have been kept away from the sport you love (Shooting Sport) by not letting you import the ARs freely, Various other aspects, which are direct from your heart and legal in all sense.

Good point Ravi. Good solid point. I didn't think about this aspect. If we don't get enough videos (I still hope we will) what we can do is, we can make half of the video about the gun owners and half about the people who wanted to own guns but can't due to licensing process and various other difficulty.

That suggestion, Ravi, is great. Let me work on that.

a) do we have a time limit on this project??
b) let's keep this simple, our love for guns.
c) the grievance on not being able to own a gun and all can come as part of another video (if I'm not asking too much).
