Indians For Guns

Hi
I am new to this hobby and have no experience apart from plinking when i was a kid with a local made air pistol.
Have been through most of new gun threads on this forum.
I am looking to start shooting as a hobby but in a professional way. I am 24 and have recently moved to Mumbai.
I intend to by an air rifle and most discussions show that IHP M35 (4.5 or 5.5) would be a good choice. I intend to buy the gun purely for range and match shooting, no pest control etc.
Now i have a budget of INR 10,000 to 15,000. Is there anything I can get better than IHP for that ? Also not very much into break barrels loaders. If i can get something local that is pneumatic or muti shot ?
Also what rifles can i buy without having a Academy or Association membership ?
If someone from Mumbai could recommend a good shooting academy or Association in Mumbai ? Western Suburbs preferred..

For sports, you have to opt .177

And IHP35 is a break barrel, so it'll not be good for sports and competitions.

Or you can easily get some other compressed air rifle, Indian make.
I guess there's a PCP coming up in the Indian market. So, if possible wait for that.

You can buy any airgun from any Indian dealer without any membership.

What are the disadvantages of this gun ?
What pellets should i use ? (Make and type )
