Hi guys, my name is Cassius. I'm from Brazil, especially from the south. Also like a lot of air guns and we have some competition here.
I have a brother named Icaro, together we have four air guns.
Air Arms EV2 MK4 .177
Air Arms S510 Xtra Fac .177
Weihrauch HW77K .177
Daystate Air Wolf MCT .22 (ordered, not in my hands yet)

I have a youtube channel that I use to share our reviews and championships, I hope you enjoy.

Dear horvath brother,

How common are 'illegal' guns in Brazil?
You guys got pretty operator cops up there, what's the public opinion about BOPE there?
What are your country's gun laws?

Eh, too many questions. I almost forgot, welcome to IFG :)

- about airguns, you just have to be over 18 years old and the caliber not more than 6 mm.
You don´t need a licence or registration. In the other hand, scopes is realy a trouble. Max 4x32 (pfff..)
For our lucky, fiscalization don´t care about the scopes (just the customs if bring from outside).
Fire arms.. you need everything possible in this life to have one registered and acording with the law.

- I like BOPE, and our local polices.

What are your country's gun laws?
- Airguns, caliber limited to 6 mm. No registration, no licence required. ahh.. money.
- Fireguns, civilians max caliber .38. You need registration, licence, Good´s will, lucky, patience, money.

Airguns dont need any license. Money, well Indian made guns can cost from $50 to $400. .22 cal and .177 cal are easily available in the market. .177 cal can be imported via post, and one can import any caliber gun via personal baggage route as long as it passes the deal wood test.

Civilians are allowed to own guns of non prohibited bore, for info read http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2780
And because import of arms is restricted, civilians cannot import firearms. Thats why guns imported before 1980s are very expensive and can cost $1600 or more. getting a license is pain. But recently there have been instances where Courts have ruled in favor of appellants who have challenged licensing authority's decision after being rejected.
