Indians For Guns

Hello Friends

Am Ramesh Madhavan, basically from Coimbatore (TN) & now settled in Jaipur (RJ), have just moved here 3 months back. Always was fond of Guns / Royal Enfield / Jeeps / Outdoor action activities etc...just bumped across on this website & just got to know there is such a group for Guns / Rifles etc. Thought I should introduce myself first, though I do not have a Gun with me to discuss about...am sure I would not be giving some valid inputs here, but would be a silent spectator and possibly would ask some wierd questions to clear off my doubts

I own a Royal Enfield Lightning 535 / Yamaha RX100 / Yezdi CL2 & like touring, also interested in photography. Am looking out for Jeep which had been my passion for a long time, but have been hearing some huge price tag on those nowadays. I still remember when I was offered to just pick up a gypsy for 40K in Coimbatore couple of years back in good condition, which I was not able to afford by then. If you guys come across any Jeeps in a bad condition also, I would be interested in picking one in a bad shape and slowly look at restoring it one by one.

Welcome to IFG, hope you enjoy visiting here.
I don't have a gun either (Not old enough to own one, I'm around 18) and only have a dog tired bicycle which I share with my dad. I think to learn about guns and love 'em, you don't need to have one, having one is always nice though.
Royal Enfield Lightning 535 is a nice classic motorcycle, and would really appreciate it if you share some photos. I like jeeps too and hope to purchase one someday.

Thanks for all your wishes, am sure am going to enjoy my stay here...was going through most of the threads, wonderful peice of information across. will post my other bike snaps shortly. its there in my external HD, I only have my 535 snap here
