Francisco Sarriugarte shotgun

Post by rj009 » Sat Oct 15, 2011 10:51 pm

Hi Everyone
I have just joined IFG. Actually I am planning to buy a 1985 made O/U 12 gauge Sarriugarte shotgun. It has engravings with gold inlays and 28 inch barrels. I would just like to know how much should the price be. I would really appreciate if someone on the forum could help me.

Here you go : http://books.google.co.in/books?id=7OGi ... sa=X&oi=bo

Now get some details of the particular piece that you want to purchase and post some pictures. Lets see what could be done. How much does the owner want?

Thats pretty tight! Think you can post some pics of the shotgun later? Seems this one is probably one of the last they might have made. Meanwhile if your mind/ heart is already made towards acquiring it, go ahead and do so but have it checked out physically by someone knowledgeable before committing yourself. Don't go on the 'looks' itself.

5.5 lakhs sounds a good bit steep to me. Posting photos, good&clear ones, will help a lot.If you check in this forum, you will find a thread which details what you need to look for while buying a secondhand gun. Do NOT go by the name alone. You need to be doubly sure about the condition and provenance of the gun.
