Hello,
I have a local made air rifle (.177) and a air pistol (.22) both are break barrel. Generally I practice target shooting in my home. It's not affordable for me to buy costly air rifles, so my question is, using this very low end rifle / pistol can I participate in any competition? Is these spring piston rifles are at all allowed in competitions? can I join any rifle shooting club with these low end rifles? Minimum how much (approx) should I have to spend to purchase an air rifle which is allowed in competitions? I will appreciate if anybody can put some light on these topics. Thanks in advance.

You certainly do have a lot of questions.... unfortunately I am not qualified to answer any of those; take heart though, there are plenty of experienced members who will be pleased to guide you.

Welcome aboard Anirban. Enrol yourself into a rifle club and learn to shoot with the airguns there. See how you fare and then take a call about buying your own stuff. All the best.
