Hello Friends
My name is Bishnu and I joined today, though I am going through your posts from last six month. I started it as a hobby. I was in Bangalore till last year. But after reaching this part of India i saw lots of old shooters around.(because of terrorist problem no fresh license was issued from last 20 yrs). Now things are changing. So I am Planing to buy one sbbl shot gun with barrel length not more than 28 inch(in this forum I heard about one P Das & Co,Guwahati). Though I am Interested in .22 rifle. But budget is one factor. I have one air rifle. That is the only experience what I have. so please guide me about what to choose in between these two and where can I found it with best price available. Thanking you .

hi bishnu welcome.
do you want to decide between a single barrel and .22?single barrel for what purpose?sports?most disciple is for double barrel i think.so single barrel will not be a fun to own.A .22 rifle good for plinking,feild target and so on,iof make 22 is worth the money.my two cents.

Thank you dr. saab for your advice. I want to buy it only for sports with some hobby shooting . As this will be my first gun, i dont want to invest a lot on this. But while filling the application, issuing authority want to know , for what kind of firearm am applying for. As in my mind hand gun is not a option, so i have to choose between a shotgun or a rifle. So please guide me amongst SBBL,DBBl and IOF.22 which will be reasonable. Is it possible for me to buy this from other state. IFGian from Guwahati and Kolkata please guide me from where can i purchase and what will be the appx price.
