I am getting my fist American made air soft pistol from the U.S shortly. It is a G&G Extreme 45 Full Metal Blow back. Shoots at 450 fps!
For a while, I guess I will just practice target shooting before I go on to the next stage of using air rifles!
Also, my uncle owns an air rifle and is not using it anymore. Is it legal for me to practice with his gun?
Thank you once again!

Never saw a full metal blow back airsoft pistol before. Please post pictures when you get your hands on it

When I'll get to shoot a gun?

Yes GoldenEagle, it ought to be OK in India to practice with your uncle's air rifle as long as it's either of .177 or .22 cal. Note that if it's of .22 cal, it may *not* be allowed on ranges. Use a good pellet stopper. IFG has a few good threads on DIY pellet traps. While folks have opined that a thick book like phone directory is good enough, my personal opinion is that a steel or iron plate is the best as pellet won't ricochet but would flatten out instead. Either way have a good solid back drop. Folks living and practicing in cities especially need to be more alert in this respect. I think pellet traps are also commercially available for around INR 1000. Again, be safe and stay alert. Also note that using (even) an air rifle for shooting/ hunting animal kingdom is illegal in India.

Good Luck - Happy Shooting and have fun.
