It is always said that a dull knife is always dangerous as compared to the sharp edge knife. You can sharp you knife using traditional method which will not cost you anything but it is not just so effective and efficient to use. You have to slid your knife edge against a rough surface which allow some metals to be lost from your blade in the course of action, thus making you knife edge sharpened. You can also use some good knife sharpeners which less time consuming and are also effective in use.
