Need help to identify the following military / police badges. Name of the Unit, Division etc would be most helpful...

are you sure these are actual badges and not ornamental ones, to be used on lapels or as tie pins?
i have never seen any badges like these!

They are all badges for uniforms....
Guess some army personnel on IFG could identify them !

I can help u find that. cuz, my town Malerkotla is famous for badge making for all kind of army units. I'll show it to my friend who runs army badge making shop he'll be able to identify them , I'll tell U after a couple of days. wait for sm time..

the one with the crossed swords and the national emblem is the infantry badge.
the bottom one might be a gorkha badge, go on bharat-rakshak and check the gorkha regiments out.the rest are not official badges

Dear Olly,
The second photo, badge used with one star if for Maj Gen, two for Lt Gen, with an Ashoka and a star is Chief. The third photo badge is for Indian Army ( insignia ). Rest all jewels at your service, anyone can use them.

hi olly, like all the above have said they are not unit badges as such. some it appears are of rank etc. if it has an elephant tooth then its the Indian Army Dental corp.

The bottom one might be a Gorkha badge but not from the Gurkha's of the Indian Army. It has a typical Nepalese Crown on it.
There is no Rajput Rifles in the Indian Army.
There is a Rajput Regt. and a Rajputana Rifles though and that one belongs to neither.

Rajput rifles? Rajputana rifles ... spiltting hair.
The third one in the second set is an epaluale cross for a Maj Gen and above.
