Have seen this guy peddling cheap chinese made knives all around aizawl town saw him again yesterday and luckily I had my camera.

They are made of machined stainless steel build quality is as good as any of the modern mass produced knives.. Personally I stay away from these

IF YOU DONT MIND , CAN I ASK SOME QUESTION.
1. Does the police say anything about this ?
2. How many khinef he carry ?
IF IT IS POSSIBLE , PLEASE POST SOME MORE PHOTOES AND INFO ..

.these blades are difficult to sharpen and does blunt easily.
i won't recommend these knives.

1 .luckily for us here in Mizoram, level of sycophancy of our police forces has not reached that level..(we are getting there) Moreover since a large majority of the populace are subsistence farmers, knives and other sharp and long tools are quite common.
2. Sorry i did not count.. I will post some photos of the knife shops here in AIzawl later

I think its a hybrid.. The chinese maker probably had a couple of sabres and bayonet parts lying around so he mated them together and cameup with this one..

(They are just like the one in his hand)

sorry moin.. i dont know nothing about the prices.. shouldnt be more than 2000-2500 Those knives are sold as AK bayonets and have all the locking lugs etc.. They look much better t han the mil spec russian bayonets that the police have.

The one riding on his left chest looks like a rip off of the Boker Magnum Underdog. Quite a nice knife.
