As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Absolutely! It's all about doing something so stupid that no one else thought about it before. Driven to set some kind of record. Cheers.

Don't even need any ammo to kill something with that piece of metal.

Re: .50 BMG HANDGUN
MoA: Not quite. A .45-70 revolver has application if you are into handgun hunting big and dangerous game, and can be handled. Without being overkill. But the .50 BMG in a pistol is several levels of magnitude beyond the .45-70, to the level of insanity. Without discernible purpose to either hunter or target shooter. That thing would have a muzzle blast like the back blast of a recoil-less rifle. Cheers.

Re: .50 BMG HANDGUN
Is that the .45-70? That is huge. The only (non-useful) application I see is a crocodile dundee style encounter "that's not a gun- this is a gun" heh
. Would probably end up ripping the web of skin 'tween the thumb and forefinger if shot casually.
