The revolver (I think IOF) fits tight. Is it a padded pouch ?

no its not a padded pouch.
Its tight because the pouch is not used once it used 4-5 times it will become very easy to put in and out.
Its a multipurpose pouch means you can keep your handgun alongwith license, cartridges and other documents space also available.
