I am biased, as I am a lover of Colt DAs.
It is my understanding that the Webley hammer can slip away from the rebound lever and have the firing pin strike a round chambered under it if it is dropped on the hammer.
A Colt will not do this, as there is a block that is under the hammer, which only is moved when the trigger is pulled. This aspect of the design is where the "positive" in the name comes from.
The Webley would be easier and quicker to load and empty with its break open action, however.
If it was me and if both revolvers were of equivalent condition (and functioning), I would go for the Colt, hands down.

Fully agree with Timmy. The Webley has one "positive" feature though. Its built like a tank and can take all the beating if that is a requirement.
