Caliber confusion

Advice needed from my learned friends.Is it advisable to fire or let me put it this way, can a revolver chambered for s&wlong fire H&R magnum cartridges.

You can do it the other way round. The .32 S&W and the .32 S&W Long can be fired in a revolver chambered for the .32 H&R Magnum. If your revolver is chambered for .32 S&W Long, a .32 H&R Magnum cartridge will not fit in the chamber as it is too long. Also remember that the .32 H&R mag generates a substantially higher pressure than the .32 S&W Long.
