Rust Pit in WB Mark IV

Helllo All,
I was cleaning my Father's old Webley Scott Mark IV revolver (bought by my father and transferred to my mother after his death) and noticed that there is a tiny (less than 2 mm in diameter and not very deep) Rust Pit inside the barrel, overlapping a groove. The pit is at a depth of 1 inch from the end of the chamber.
I showed it to an Arms Dealer (Oriental Arms in CP, New Delhi) and they told me that I should not be worried.
I wanted to know if
a) The gun would be safe to fire with said damage to the barrel?
b) Would the location, right on the groove, affect its accuracy?
c) Is there a Dealer in Delhi that would be more knowledgeable about this?
Thanks for your help,
Kandarp
P.S. I would post pictures, but the location of this make it impossible to click a decent picture.
