Replica Handguns

One of my uncles bought a replica/imitation pistol for his nephew from Masjid Bundar, Mumbai. The original Colt 1911 military model with markings. He bought a brand new one for 25k. That's expensive for a gun that makes only noise. Is it worth buying them for that price? Guess, importing would save 10k at least.

Cheers,
N.

I would not be spending so much money on imitation firearm. Instead I would apply for shotgun license and purchase a real shotgun for around this amount. BTW this is only my personal opinion and perception.

Replicas don't make noise.
It's probably a blank.

You could consider buying a replica air pistol or rifle (repeater) that would not only make a noise but shoot out a pellet and hit a target as well for an approximately similar amount...without a license! I have quite enjoyed myself plinking with various look/feel-alike air weapons. Maybe, I am completely wrong here - or is it just my perception, in an actual firearm starved country?!
