Does anyone owns Mauser Hsc. (kal 7.65mm)? Recently a dealer showed me a piece which looks in good nick but asking whooping 8.5L. Is it worth that? It will be nice if somebody could put forwad some comparitive analysis viz-a-viz other models available in .32 ACP.

Thanx for your prompt reply Grewal sahab.
I have taken the pic of the piece using my mob.To me the gun seems to be reblued and grip re-polished though i am not sure about it.I did some research on the net, none of the pic resembled the grip of the piece which he showed me. I can send you the pic if you could shed some more light on it.

Ashok

Two years ago i was shown a nice HSC piece and was quoted 4.3 lks for it. I however went in for a smith snubby which was for around 5. I know smith snubbys command 6-6.5 lks today and generally HSC's are slightly cheaper or were so 2 yrs back. So the price sounds way too high.
However the pistol is a good weapon; very concealable almost PPK'ish kinda outline, reliable , ammo is easily available and the best part is that it is a Double action pistol. I think anything in the region of 6 lks + or - 50k should be fair price. For 7-8 lks you could land a PPk not that this is a bad pistol just that PPK's are more desireable and command higher prices.Personally I would buy a HSC over PPK for the double action feature .So other than the price quoted if the gun is in good nick you should get it.

Looks nice to me. The only problem is the price tag.

looks like walther .the price depends on the persons mood.it ranges from 4 to 7 down here sometime back.there seems no fixed price as there is acute shortage of imported handguns.hope you know the gun scene in india.good luck.

Hi Rakshit
If I am not wrong even PPK's are double action.
