which is the best concealable weapon and which is easy to carry.
As it is the first prerequisite for a weapon kept for self defense.

almost all handguns available for civilians in india are very puny and are concealable.stopping power and easy handling will be the first requirement for self defense. you don't have much choice to choose.

guns lighter in weight and easy handling small size and good stopping power........the iof .32 rev is odd 650 gms in weight and it mis fires a lot many times.i have a 2003 model and have fired a few hundred rounds.out of six mine misses 2 or 3 these days if if fire them in continuation.if i cock one by one it fires.what i think is its a bit heavier to carry

In the Indian context, if I have to make a choice amongst the IOF products, IOF Ashani a fairly reasonable pistol for concealed carry purpose IMHO .

We, in India, have some very limited choices. I have Smith & Wesson Revolver Model 31-1 in 3 inch barrel which is highly concealable - it's a 'J' frame (smallest frame size among S&W's) - can be easily concealed in an 'Ankle' holster or in 'inside the waist band' (IWB) holster - it is very easy to carry too - sleek and goes 'bang' every time you pull the trigger. This revolver comes in 2 inch (snub nose) barrel too which would be more concealable than my 3 inch barrel however with some sacrifice in ballastics. I never faced a single instance where i felt that 2 inch would have been more concealable than 3 inch.

I have seen Colts detective special too - i think it is highly concealable too - however, i think it is not as sleek as S&W and it's butt is also bigger than S&W 'J' frame - but i am not very sure about Colts Vs Smith comparison. Owners or more experienced users may throw more light.

They are both equally good and concealable i own a J frame 2 inch snubby and find it extremely comfy to carry. the colt is a more diserable weapon simply because its a lil bit more hard to find . The rarity also makes it a higher priced product.

well I have both a .38 spl snubby Revolver & .32 Astra Pistol, I tried, both carrying on daily basis.

But Concealing a pistol is far easy & comfy than a revolver.

This is my experience.
