Indians For Guns

hi everybody,
would like to have the opinion of my learned friends about which is better gun in terms of reliability,handling,accuracy .presently own a beretta 1934 .380.http://s1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/vinay-singh/

anyday berreta will out beat illama.reliability is 100 percentage with good catridges.illama is not a bad weapon though,magzine release and reloading is easier with illama than berreta.

Have owned a Beretta 1934/35 (in 380) and a star (very similar to the Llama) model D also in .380.

Have also shot both. With regards to reliability if one uses good quality ammunition (and for those of you in India that probably means imported) both guns are very reliable.

The Star/Llama is easier to get into firing mode as the position of the controls is a much better fit than on the Beretta.

Also, while both lock the slide back after the last shot in the magazine, the Beretta magazine is what locks the slide back and definitely takes two hands to get the magazine out.

Still neither is as safe to carry as a CZ 70 or walther pp/ppk or even a russian makarov.

The Beretta shows better workmanship than the Llama, internal fit and finish are much better. The Beretta has a much better
reputation for long service life. I have owned and fired at least 3 Llamas and several Berettas over the last 50 years of owning pistols here in the U.S.

you can't compare apples with oranges.

ill stick with ur beretta . not cause its a bigger name. it sure is which also means better quality of materials used in making of the gun, more reliable, nicer action and longer life and not to forget the size being great for personal carry . the llama is slim but still a medium sized frame. I d say keep it.
