IOF Revolver exchange from .22 to .32

I was interested in exchanging my .22 IOF revolver (new) for a .32 IOF revolver and the gun dealer in Goa advised me against it citing jamming and barrel bursting as major flaws in the IOF .32 revolver. He also commented that the snap open design of the .32 IOF revolver made this an unreliable weapon and said it could cause eye or body injury during operation. I left the shop in shock as I never heard such drastic comments about this weapon on this forum. At present and for the next 3 years an imported revolver of .32 caliber is out of my budget (2.75 lakhs) so I would appreciate some valuable advice on the subject of this particular exchange with emphasis on weapon usage safety. Thanks.
