Yeah. I'd be interested in knowing the make of this pistol too. Also, how did it get into this country. If it's on TR then are they allowed to sell it legally..

I'd make sure that I get a copy of the import paperwork. At the very least, the firearm should have been imported more than 10 years ago or have a certificate from DGFT saying that it can be exempt from this rule.

Ash,
It is obvious that you desire this handgun. Nothing wrong with that. I too have firearms that I do not "need". If you can afford it, go for it.

However, if you have an issue with concealing a 4" Smith revolver, please keep in mind that the Glock 31 is not a small handgun. If the butt of a Model 66 is visible on you, the grip on a Glock 31 will stick out just as much , if not further. A properly built holster will pull the butt of the handgun into the body, thus hiding the butt. A generic holster, like an Uncle Mike's nylon holster, will not. You would also need a good rigid gun belt to support the weight of the holster and gun.

See the photo below. Notice how the butt of the gun is tight against the body. This will prevent it from printing (showing the shape of the gun through clothing). This one is worn in the appendix carry position, which is not comfortable to me but it can also be worn in the traditional 3:30 or 4:00 o'clock position.

Thanks a lot xl for the guidance. I will try to keep the pistol this way (lol) as I have decided to go for the pistol.
Thanks

I own a SIG P226 in 357sig. It's a very accurate round. But it does not compare to the power of a revolver chambered in 357mag.

I'm aware of the rarity of the round, and that's why I reload for it. I buy a few thousand pieces of 357sig once fired brass (mainly from police ranges) and buy all the other components. Cost wise for me its not too different than 9mm. To reload 357sig is about 5-6 usd per box of 50, vs 35usd for a factory box of 50.

And to make it all priceless- the huge fireball that comes from the end of the gun!
