Jinnereo you missed it man ,,,,you missed it. Otherwise you could have had a beauty .
Walther is like Angelina Jolie and Webley is like Mayawati .
And not to forget even if Maya is in mint condition people still prefer Angelina

I hope no one reads it to inform Mayawati, else you might also land up being pulled into a lawsuite for defaming her or rather defaming her beautygrewal wrote:And not to forget even if Maya is in mint condition people still prefer Angelina

Technically speaking neither Mayawati is a registered trade mark nor this name is exclusively used by one person . So no infringement of any personal property or copyright . And Above all I live life king size man . So chill . But I am sorry If I have hurt your feelings regarding " Mayawati" . Because some like scotch but some like desi also.sa_ali wrote:I hope no one reads it to inform Mayawati, else you might also land up being pulled into a lawsuite for defaming her or rather defaming her beauty

Re: Why is walther getting so so so costly?
in Pakistan a walther is more of a trophy rather because of the availability of 9mm, 30 TT and 45 acps [the supply is increasing by the day so the prices are falling for 45acps]...
a well maintained walther ppk-ppk/s will cost somewhere aound 35k-50k PKR... not much and you guys can divide that amount by 1.6 i guess !!
another sought after gun nowadays is Makarov in 9*18... the prices have shot up and someone has also quoted me 100k for it [I simply wasn't interested]
CZ 83 is also available again in mint condition for 35k PKR!!
I was fascinated with it [walther ppk/s]as my father in law owns one in mint condition!! but after I had a go at more potent calibres the fascination sort of died away
my current purchase is a Baikal MP 153 semi auto 12g shotgun in synthetic stock... I have been told that its sold by remington in the US by the name of spartan .. indeed a very well built semi
will post the pic soon in a separate thread

nothing to be sorry about but nowadays gun manufacturing has all but stopped in darra only a few people are manufacturing mostly shotguns and TTs but yes you are right the prices I am hearing from you guys are insane!! I mean even at 4.k lacs it means 7.2 lacs PKR!! wow for that amount you can get a top of the range assault rifle if you want to!!

Re: Why is walther getting so so so costly?
weapon 247,
Thanks for your insights on the status of the PPK- PPK/s in Pakistan.
In the US, the PPK goes for about $500. S&W distributes them for Walther in the states.
There have been numerous complaints on the fit & finish and the performance of the S&W versions.
Due to the availability of other firearms here, Walthers are generally not that sought after. Most people who carry handguns choose other weapons as their primary carry. There are a certain number of people who use the PPK as a back up gun, though.
Ian Fleming was not really a gun guy and his choice of primary weapon for Commander Bond was unfortunate as it has given the PPK an allure far beyond the its actual virtue. If I was a secret agent in Her Majesty's service and my life depended on my handgun I would want to use a round that had a little more "oomph" than the .380. I would also want a gun with a little bigger magazine.
I don't recall Bond carrying an extra magazine in any of his pockets. It is absolutely amazing though, how over the years, Commander Bond has been able to confront and defeat his legions of enemies with only 7 rounds of .380 ACP per novel.
