I seriously doubt it. Try and look it up online, but there is very sparse info on Arminius revos available online.

Don't do it. You can shoot s&W long from a magnum revolver but not the other way around. The pressures would be dangerous.

My paternal uncle has/ had (not sure as I am not really in touch with the gent) one of these. They are light weight and very well made revolvers. Due to the
"janta" being suspicious of the alloy frame their pricing is lower than those of full steel construction revolvers like Colt, Ruger, S&W, etc. making them damn good value for money (in India).
Congratulations on your new acquisition Casual Shooter - seems like you got yourself a good bargain!
Cheers!

I'd like to think I already am a pretty good son in law

Anyway, I don't have space on my license for an extra gun, and there's no way in hell I'm giving my current gun up.

You asked the wrong question. Yes, you can fire it from your revolver, bu NO, you should not. The .32 H&R Magnum is a much higher pressure cartridge than the .32 S&W Long. The Arminius revolver has an alloy frame, not aluminium alloy or titanium, but a zink alloy. Strong enough for the purpose and chambering, but porbably not strong enough to stand up to repeated firing of the higher pressure magnum. Don't do it unless your life is at stake and it's the only ammo you've got. Easy to check whether the frame is steel, all you need is a magnet. Cheers.
