I m holding 19 Years old NPB Revolver/Pistol All India Licence from Lucknow UP.
I want to know that can I change my bore from Revolver to Rifle and if yes than what is the procedure.
Pls suggest me.
Thanks to all in advance.
It's not just bore change, Revolver and Rifle are completely different firearms, and the criteria for issuing the licence also differ, so I don't think there is any provision for changing it on your existing Licence, you may have to apply for a fresh Rifle Licence
Thanks Sir

I think hornet22 has the best idea. Who knows what goes on in the minds of government officials.

Keep your current license intact and go through the work to get a new one -- at least you have the current one intact. Otherwise, who knows what kind of trouble could ensue. Because of some gefuddlement on the part of the officials, you may find yourself without any license at all.
